Our first family picture. It took us forever to get a decent one, and even then lilly is still not looking at the camera.

This is one of my favorite pics of my very handsome husband Ammon.

This was my second favorite picture we took at our goomals. I love how my husband scrunches his nose when he laughs.

My number 1 favorite. and would you look at that, its a kissing one!! Everyone teases me that i kinda have a fear about taking pics while kissing. But i love love love this one.

Lilly picking flowers on our four wheeler ride. She was so mad when i told her she couldn't pick flowers, that she started to cry, so we pulled over as every one passed us by, and let her pick a flower.... she held it in her hand for the whole day. It was brown and wrinkly by the end of the day. i pried it out of her hands while she went to sleep. Love you silly lilly!

Engagement photos. If you could look at what was behind us, you would think that we were in a horror movie. It was the back window of an old bus. there were creepy stuffed animals and everything back there. At least we got a good pic :)

I loved that the way i was feeling inside was portrayed through this picture. I was so happy in this picture, i love his sweet kisses. They make me feel Loved, and beautiful.

I took this picture the day i found out rykert had DMD. The simple joy of looking out a window. It reminded me that i needed to enjoy every moment, and not worry about all the chaos going on around me.

Black eye.

Rykert got a black eye. IT WAS SO CUTE!!! He was so excited to see his friend at school that he ran up to him to hug him and bumped right into him!! He was so proud of the black eye, i think it made him feel tough. I love this little guy :) black eye and all :)

Our little family consists of 4 people, Of course there is Ammon and I, The next is Rykert, he is 4 years old, and growing every day!!!

He is so energetic and fun, he says the cutest things, He was diagnosed with DMD This year, and every time we ask him if his legs hurt, or if he is sick, he just responds with a big smile on his face and says "no, im just happy". visit rykerts website to learn more about DMD www.runforry.com He is so sweet, and we love him more than anyone could ever imagine!!!

Next after ry is lilly!! She is our little DIVA. She loves to wear mama lacey's shoes and sunglasses, and to have her hair done by aunt torey. She Loves to help her "friend" rykert, and loves to walk with attitude. *If you ever meet her, ask her to walk with attitude, she'll show you* Lilly always brings a smile to peoples faces, she is so friendly, and loves to hold hands. She has the cutest personality and lights up every room she comes in. We all like to call her silly lilly, because she is so goofy, she loves chocolate milk, and candy *she prefers the messiest kinds of candy*. Life without lilly would be so serious and boring, we love our little girl, and all the joy she brings us!!!

Lilly and rykert have the greatest friendship i have ever seen between siblings. of course they have there moments where they have to hit and kick, and in rykerts case, pull his sisters hair, but over all, they don't even like to be apart from each other for more than 5 min. Lilly has just started calling rykert her friend, not her brother. i have loved seeing her befriend ry, and help him when he struggles on the stairs, reaching something in the car, and just helping translate his language sometimes. she loves ry so much, and im so glad they have each other and love each other as much as they do.

I have never seen a father love his kids like ammon loves his. These kids are his world, and if it weren't for them, i think he wouldn't be alive right now. He would give the world for them, miss as much work, cancel plans, and spend as much money as needed for these kids. they have saved his life, more than once. and i am so grateful that those kids will have a good father in there life that will do anything for them, and love them no matter what.


I love these children like they were my own! I have shared so many new experiences with them, and they have taught me so much! Mostly they have taught me skills i need to have in life. Patience. Anyone who knows me knows i have just about no patience for ANYTHING. Since i have become a step mom, these kids have taught me patience, i still have a long ways to go, but im getting there. Just ask ammon, i have come a long way from where i firs twas when i met our kids. They have also taught me to cherish each and every moment i have with the ones i love.
Treat every moment like it was my last, and to take allot of pictures along the way. I love these kids so much, through the good times and the bad, poopy diapers, messy faces, and LONG sleepless nights. I love you Rykert and Lilly, and i feel so privileged to be your step mom.
Ammon And Lacey. We met on Myspace/facebook, about 2 years ago. It took ammon a year to finally convince me to hang out with him! I can't believe i waited a whole year to meet the man of my dreams!!! But we finally met, and hung out for the first time. Since that day we have been with each other every single day. Anyone who knows me(lacey) before i met ammon knows i was not interested in marriage, or even serious dating, I have had a bad history of being hurt by men, and was not interested in getting my heart broken once again. Something was different about ammon though, from the first time i met him, i knew he was the one. The way he looked at me, and smiled at me, i knew he liked me for who i was. Now, the first time we met, he told me he liked to cook!! Im a pretty crafty person, and i really like ammon, so i decided i would make him an apron. I felt like maybe he would think i was crazy for making him something so random, only after the first time we had met! I was so wrong, he told me later, that that was when he knew he loved me. We have been through some really hard times, and SO MANY good times!!! I have grown up so much, and learned so many important essential life lessons. I am married to the love of my life, and i wouldn't change ANYTHING. 122% is our little saying, we love each other not just 100%, but 122%. *don't ask me how the number came about, that's just how it happened* :) I love my life, and my family. We are so happy, and wouldn't change how we live our lives.

Ammon proposed to me on valentines day, February, 14, 2010. We got married on July,2,2010.

Our wedding was so beautiful!!! We had such a great photographer who was so nice and soooo good at what she does! Thank you abby! Our colors were Black, white, and the damask print. *google it if you don't know what that is* My family was not so supportive at first, but as they got to know ammon more, and saw how much i loved him and how happy he made me, they opened there hearts to him, and learned to love him almost as much as i did. The wedding planning was easier than i thought it would be. my family helped out SO much! They were all so kind to help me, and my good friend shelby did so much to help as well. im so grateful for all those people who helped ammon and i plan the wedding.

Jaxon my little brother, and Rykert have always had a special little bond. Ever since jaxon became an uncle to ry, they have created this amazing bond/friendship. Jaxon loves ry so much, and ry loves Uncle jaxon just as much. Jaxon has a way of dealing with ry and his crazy behavior he has sometimes. He can get ry to calm down, to be nice, and to be quiet in church. Im so glad they both have each other and can share allot of tender moments.


At the wedding Ammon and I ate cake!! YUMMY!! We made a deal before the wedding that we would keep it clean, and feed each other nicely with the cake.

My mom surprised us with the cake, i had no idea what it looked like, and when i saw it, i almost cried!!! I loved it so much! Thank you mom!!! Not only did it look good, it tasted amazing!

Rykert can be a piece of work sometimes. lol the only way we cold get him to walk down the isle quietly, was to give him a cookie. He Had cookie all over his face for the ceremony!!!

Lilly loved my dress!!! She would call it mama laceys princess dress. I think she liked the beading on the top part.... She couldn't stop touching it, which made for some awkward moments throughout the night.

NEW HOUSE!!

Ammon and i FINALLY moved into our new house!!! Yay! im so excited, i think its about to drive ammon crazy lol. I have been lookiing online for decorating tips all day at work!!! We painted the kids rooms, lilly's is pink, and ry's is teal green. they loved it! and so did ammon and i. My grandpa Baird let us use his truck, (since ammons "friends" bailed on us last min.). it was kind of a small truck, so it took a couple extra loads to get all the big stuff over there from my moms, it wasn't so bad, because ammons good friend ron came and helped us!! I was just so excited to be in our house i didn't even really care about what we were doing, at the time we were doing it at. (it was late). Im so greatful that i had faith in my father in heaven, that he would help us out in getting a home the size we needed, and that he could help me have the courage and open mindedness to get the job i have so we can aford everything we need. i know that he has played a huge roll in helping ammon and i, we couldn't be who we are today, and doing what were doing today if it wasn't for him.
5 Min. left of work, i guess i better go, more updates will be up soon, and if i can figure out how to do pictures i will put some up as well :)

Going to the lake

I'm a little late on the "Going to the lake" post, but I decided i would blog about it anyway. Before Ammon and i got married, we decided we needed to take a trip down to st. George so that Ammon could officially meet my dad, and his wife. We loaded up the kids on the weekend we got them, and headed for STG. The trip was SO long!!! im not sure the kids are used to driving for four straight hours, but we brought a DVD player for each kid, and did the best with the long drive. We finally got to st. George, and the kids instantly loved grandpa Joe!!! It was such a relief for me lol my dad didn't used to being called grandpa until about the next day we were there, now he loves it!! We went to the storage unit, grabbed a razor, and a four wheeler, and headed out to the lake! it was such a beautiful day, sun shining, slight breeze, and lots of food!! I was so excited, and so was my little family. None of them had ever ridden on a four wheeler, or a razor, so i was more than excited to show them how I grew up :)
once we got to the lake, Ammon just couldn't wait any longer to get on that razor!! He wanted me to drive it so he could get used to it. so we took a quick ride, and he LOVED it!!! After ammon and i went on our ride, he wanted to take ry out, and ry was soooo excited!! He jumped in the razor, i pulled the seat belt on, and off they went! I think i could hear ry screaming for a mile!! They got back, and ry had the biggest smile on his face, he absolutely loved the razor!!
After we rode on all the fun toys, it was time to make some hot dogs. Not my personal favorite, but when your hungry and out in the middle of nowhere, hot dogs are REALLY good. while all of these things were going on, ry and lilly were playing in the sand, and they would call it "poopies" because they thought it looked like poop, when i first heard them say it, i laughed so hard i couldn't breath. Ry said "daddy, i have poopies in my ear!!!'" It was the funniest thing ever. Those kids make me so happy, im so blessed to have them :)
Ammon and i got to sit and talk with my dad, and he gave us some great advice on getting along with others, loving everyone, and just about life in general. It was so nice to sit and listen to some words of advice from my dad, i always love spending time with him. This trip to st. george, was probably the best one i have ever had, i was with my future husband (at the time) and my future step children who i love so much!! My husband got to meet my dad, and my dad got to meet my new family, and everything went well!!! whweew! Im grateful for my dad letting us come down, eating his food, taking his time to make us feel welcome and loved in his home. I love you dad, and i love my family :) Thank you for the fun weekend.

Keeps getting better and better.

OK, so its that time of day again, the time of day when i have a few hours left of work, and i start to get bored, not allot of calls coming in, and its very quite in the office. So i blog!!! My topic of choice today is Lilly and Rykert. My new step children, i think i have come a long way with these kids, and becoming used to the idea of being a 19 year old step mom. When i first met the kids Ammon and i figured out how old i would have been if i was there birth mom.... I would have been 15 when Ry was born, and 16 with Lilly. WOW! that was such a shocker to me lol but i have grown up so much and am now comfortable with calling them my kids, and them calling me mommy late at nights when they wake up. I love these two kids so much!!! I'm not sure what i would do without them, i look forward to every weekend i get to spend with them, and some of the holidays.
The first time i ever met the kids was when ammon and i had been dating for a while, ammon last girlfriend that he had before me was named sara. Sara had met the kids once, and i guess they just associated the name sara to any girl that was with ammon. For about the first two or three months that i was dating/engaged to ammon, they called me sara. Especially lilly lol. after a while i started to get a little offended by her calling me that, because we would always tell her that my name was lacey, and she would smile and call me sara. But luckly before i reached the breaking point with her calling me sara, she stopped!!! The only problem was that she now didn't say my name at all, at least before she was calling me something, now she says "hey you" to get my attention. we would all ask her what my name was, and she would just look away and blush like she knew she knew it, just didn't want to say it. weird, typical Lilly tough lol. today was a different day!!! She cant stop calling me lace, Not Lacey, just lace. It cracks me up, i feel like things just get better and better with them, i feel like they are starting to love me the way i love them, and there getting more comfortable with me being around!! Oh, and rykert called me mommy the whole way over to grandmas house, i just smiled and enjoyed the moment. :) things keep getting better with Ammon and I, things get better with our families, and things keep getting better with the kids!! I have NEVER been this happy :) :) :) :) I LOVE MY LITTLE FAMILY, THE MALONE'S!!!

SO MUCH NEW!!!!

There have been so many new things going on in my life! Last time i posted something up i was just engaged, now I'm married!!! married life is so great! i love spending every day with the one person i love more than anything in this world. My life couldn't be better than it is now!!! I love being a new mommy, well, every other weekend and on some holidays, new mommy. But even if its just sometimes, i love being a mom. My two step children are Rykert (4) and Lilly (3). Ask anyone, there the cutest little things ever! i love them to death, and would do anything for them. Being married has been so exciting, and SO different. I have had to learn how to pay bills, cook, clean, do dishes, deal with neighbors, and land lords! we tried to have a puppy for a while, but i don't think I'm quite ready for that lol. My husband is so absolutely amazing, i don't think i could say enough about him. he knows when I'm having a bad day, that little things like helping with dishes, or cooking dinner make a huge difference in my day! He is so loving, and understands me so well. were learning so much about each other, and he is learning how to deal with my crazzy mood swings lol. I love this man so much i don't know what i would do without him. I love you Ammon, and im so glad we have both been given a second chance with one another.
Ammon and i have just signed papers to rent a house!!! were both so excited we can hardly stand it! were living with my mom, and have been for about a week now. Heres why. We were renting an apartment and needed to sell the contract so we could move into the house. we sold the contract, and were informed the people weren't moving out of the house until the 19th of September, so we moved in with my mom for a couple weeks, hey free food, no rent, and being entertained by everyone is totally worth it. I love my family and I'm so grateful for them helping out Ammon and i. The new house is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom, very spacious place, im so excited the kids will have there own room :) we will be painting the room pink and blue, and my brother is going to come up and graffiti something special for each kid. I am so excited to see how it turns out, the kids will love it. I have loved living on my own, its been fun to go grocery shopping, cleaning, decorating, running around the house in whatever i want ;) Its just been so great!!!
New job. most of you know that i worked for a company called chrysalis. i have worked there for about a year and a half. I loved it!!! I loved working with "the guys", they were always so kind to me. One of the guys moved out of the house, and we got a new client. He was so sweet and kind.... at first.... then he turned out to be someone who was really hard to get along with, he would get angry and violent at the drop of a hat, he would curse and yell and call staff names on a daily basis. I did pretty good at putting up with it for a while, until he started to target me for this behavior, when i would work he would get angry, and some situations would turn violent, very uncomfortable, and the name calling started to wear on me affecting me outside of work. I loved working there, and when this particular client was in a good mood, i loved being around him, he was so funny and always made me laugh. It was just time for a new job. Ammon was working for a call center called ROI, the company quickly expanded, and he was offered a new job for a different company that was across the street from ROI. I decided i would try and get a job at ROI again, (noted the first time i tried they wouldn't hire me because Ammon worked there as well) so i went in for an interview, and whala!!!! I'm now working for ROI. its been a really good job so far, i have met a few new people, and have had some interesting calls. The pay is better, so Ammon and i can pay for all the necessary things without as much stress as it used to be. I'm so grateful for this job, and owe all the credit to my amazing husband for talking to the people here and telling them i would be perfect for the job. Thanks babe ;)
I love my life, i love my family, and i love my job. I love my husband and new step children so much!!! I would be nothing without them. There will be more coming soon!!
